Although the ECAS status shows decision made, I have not yet received any email in this regard. Is this normal?

Others also reported not receiving the email, or receiving it with long delay. I wouldn't stress about that; if you see decision made on ECAS on both the sponsor and the PA side, you're already approved.

And we didn't see a message regarding DM until 2 days before landing.... We got the landing invite 2 hours after DM in ECAS...

Goes to show that timing of messages isn't absolute.

@f0rni true story. The week after medical (Easter weekend) it was submitted to CIC. 2 days later accepted. Next day DM + Landing invite for 9 days later.

It can happen. Not terribly common, but certainly not impossible!

I hope it will go as fast as it did for you guys. Anyways.. All I can do now is wait

March 30, 2016 applicant also. Got AIP and then SA in May 2017. Background check still in process.

another Friday goes by and still nothing here, it is almost like March and April got skipped over, starting to get really frustrated, it is already the middle of July, the year is half over, will we still be stressing out waiting on this by Christmas?

actually i'm not worried about it. My main concern is on how they process it, asking for more documents that you've already submitted and makes your application delayed. just like the pcc last year.

It really depends in which office you'll land, Etobicoke for example was landing people about 7-8 weeks after DM, but recently I saw some people posting they landed in about 5 weeks in Etobicoke. Other smaller office might land you faster.

In The Last Days !!!!
Perilous times isn't coming........ its here!!!
So last night(Friday night) we had thunder storm hail in all its fury. . . .
Then the power went because the power line came down,
Because London Hydro no longer does line servicing n bushings. . .
So my sump pump did not work n I did not have a backup. . . .
And my entire basement had 3 inches of water. 30x50 basement
$3500 to bring a company in to do the extraction of the water. . . . . .
aaaaaaaaaahhhhh fuch!!!!!!!!

Then the insurance won't cover for water damages even though we have employed all the updates to prevent flooding. . . .
Mhnmmmn . . thus another face of Canada. . . but I guess I will have lots to do until IRCC makes their decision!
How many couples will survive this process!!!! Draconian process. . . mhnmmn

We both have the same message and maybe it is still from the glitch before. if they will require something from us, they will give us a message thru MyCIC or Email.
