I was just wondering if you could help clarify what a letter that i received today means... It says that 'it has been determined that you meet the eligibility requirements to apply for permanent residency'.
Is this AIP letter?
Any insight you can provide with this is greatly appreciated!
2016? 2017? I am confused here. I am trying to understand where your case would be in processing, so I can zero-in on the correct answer to give you.
If we assume 2016, then your case probably has SA and they asked for more proofs to evaluate membership of the Family class (for AIP purposes).
Via courier it will still take 60 days for them to scan and attach the proofs to the file.[/QUOTE
I didnt know it took 60 days I did send 4 pounds of proof lol. I applied March 2016 then received a letter for more proof in May 2017 and they received this by 12 June. Very helpful thank you.
Yes, that's the same department that takes in all kinds of paperwork from all sources, and has to attach them to files in progress. So it stands to reason that it will be slower. Lately it's been about 60 days.
You can't check now? I might be drunk by 6! Weekend off from being a dad -- well, not exactly a "weekend" -- we have a picnic tomorrow for a couple hours, but other than that!

The good thing is that your background check it done. Now you are probably in queue to get the DM with landing appointment and if you are going to have to land at Etobicoke office you may have to wait a little. Sorry but did you contact
