After 45-minute wait, an agent answered my call. He made a note in the file and told me to wait for reply from CIC officers. Got kinda eased, but not completely until new landing interview date confirmed.

But it worked right? Lol, not to worry the landing date is coming. Maybe even tomorrow? They work on Saturdays. Give it time!

Well, we got med request in Dec 2016, but got SA, AIP, DM in March 2017. But @profiler 's wife landed like 2 weeks after the medical, like you they already had AIP. So your turn can really come soon!

@f0rni true story. The week after medical (Easter weekend) it was submitted to CIC. 2 days later accepted. Next day DM + Landing invite for 9 days later.

It can happen. Not terribly common, but certainly not impossible!

i passed everything except security background check since i got AIP,SA
on 7th april 2017.
i have plan to outside canada end of july.
but i worry about that if i got a landing interview when i stay in outside canada,,
should i cancle my flight ticket??,,
