Hey there! I am a Canadian citizen and am about to submit a PR application for my common-law fiancee. He is an Australian citizen and has been in Canada for almost 2 years on a working holiday visa. I was wondering if someone could provide a bit more information about the medical examination aspect of the PR application. I've read so much I've confused myself. I am sponsoring my fiancee only, no dependants or family members. I know he will be requested to complete a medical assessment. Will his family in Australia have to complete them as well if they have no intention of coming over and will not be sponsored? It is super expensive to have the medicals in Australia and he has a large immediate family so I just want to be prepared if that is required.

Really? If that's the case it would be amazing, he has no children. I was reading somewhere and it said all immediate family and another thing mentioned siblings and parents but I'm really hoping that is not the case.
