I am currently in Montreal on an open work permit. I have applied for CSQ under skilled worker category through the arrima/mon project portal in Feb 2019. I got the notification on 6th Sept 2019 to send my documents to midi for review. I am going to get married to my long term girlfriend on 14th Sept 2019 in Montreal. She already has a PR and has agreed to sponsor me.
Now I am wondering if I should send my documents to midi to process CSQ or just leave it and start the sponsorship process after getting married. Also, would it be a good idea to continue both processes simultaneously, is it legally correct to do so?
