Hello, I am a Canadian citizen who lives abroad. I am not a Canadian tax resident and generally, I had little ties with Canada for the last 6-7 years.
Now I am trying to sponsor my husband from abroad. We both live outside of Canada, he does have a tourist visa and traveled to Canada before our marriage and the visa is still active.
In the sponsorship application, they are asking for a Canadian address and proof of intention to move, we don't have a Canadian address, so I am afraid if I put an address now by the time the application is approved we might find a job in another city and move there. So the question is, do we need to live at the same exact address that we put in our application?

You didn't have Canadian address, so you gave address of the place outside Canada, as your current address, right?
If that changes, simply update CIC with new address through webform.
And incase you gave canadian address, pls do mention if your city of destination has also changed.
They are asking for a Canadian address and destination province, they want to know which province exactly we are going to live in when he gets his PR. Both us are applying for jobs all over Canada, so if I say we are going to live in ON but then we got jobs in AB is it going to cause any issues if we move to AB?

Note that since you are applying from outside of Canada, you do need to include evidence to prove you will relocate to Canada once the PR visa is approved. An address in Canada generally won't be sufficient. You generally need more than this such as bank accounts aleady established in Canada, property in Canada, job offer in Canada, etc.

No it won't cause any issues. Just keep them updated promptly and keep digital copies of webform.
But you will have to provide an address which makes some logical sense for the officer. For e.g, an address of a family member or a close friend, which is not a 1bed condo and of course have permission from them about using their address. That should be good enough.
