From lurking around on here, I think it's fair to say that most US applications are really quick, like 6 months. Most of them are processed in Canada. The trickier ones, like with criminality or questions about the genuineness of the relationship, are sent to American visa offices and that's where the time can really get up there.
Thank you guys! I am so excited I feel like puking and dancing all rolled into one. 6 months I am hopping! We sent in everything at once to help move things along, although I will have to redo my FBI background check because it expired by the time everything got sent.

Dan, yea by the time we did the medical and stuff, I had done my FBI check month or 2 before we sent in everything. My hubby had delay getting some information for sponsoring, and we wanted to send in everything at once. I think we missed it by a few weeks it will be out of date but when I asked for my FBI check it only took like a few weeks to get so hopefully wont be a major set back. Everything else is already done, they shouldnt ask for anything.
(Im hoping they will over look the date on my background check and say Im a good girl and let it slide...doubt that will happen though!)
Ok, I believe you're a good girl haha
I don't know the laws of US, but as far as I concerned, the FBI background take 2-3 months to get ready, right?
Why don't you ask a new one?
Put ur uci number on a letter explaining what documents you are submitting, there is no way to match the FBI police clearance to your application without the uci number.
