Hi,

I hope the readers of this thread are doing well.

I'll start with an overview; I'm currently engaged, and I'll be getting married this December. My Fiance resides outside Canada, and I live in Ontario (I'm a PR holder).

I plan on applying for her spousal PR application after getting married, but I have recently seen that the Canadian Visit visa application process is around 19 days. My Fiance's brother lives in Ontario, so she could potentially apply for a visit visa to see her brother. Is this a good option that she applies for her visit visa now, and I apply for her PR application after getting married? Or should we hold off on any application until we get married?
