OWP if you want to remain in Canada. Your spouse usually needs 6 months left in her studies to be approved although due to processing delays IRCC seems to be more flexible. Spouse and permits are not guaranteed for families of international students. Were you recently married?

If you are applying from India very little chance of OWP being approved given the time left for her to complete her studies and the processing times for OWP applied for from India. You perhaps have a better chance with a VV application.
Yes you can .. you applying for anything being inside Canada all depends on IF you get the VV approved. What do you do in India? You have to demonstrate strong home ties for a VV. All the best.

I am not keen to work in Canada at the moment. just would like to visit and stay with my wife. As it is taking a lot of time to get SOWP, I am thinking of applying for VV and then apply for SOWP once I am there. What do you think
