Creating this thread to connect with others who are in the same boat.

My application surpassed the average processing time for outland applications.

I would request members to share their timelines.

Not unusual for applications to take over a year which you just crossed. Do you know if an interview is required?

I dont think every case they ask for interviews. If they feel like something is off or need more clarification I believe. Do lot of people get interviews ?

About interviews-How do they process interviews if PA is in another country? Will it be in person or skype?
Thanks

I don't know. I know they used to request the PA attend in person at a specific office. That's one of the downsides about outland.

Not worth worrying about it until you get a call to interview though.

Alright...thank you

Upon inquiry, we got to know that the initial review is pending, and the file is in the queue.

We submitted a file in Feb 2024 and completed Medical and Biometrics in April. I wonder who submitted the file in March and received PR from the same visa office.
