HI Everyone,
I recently read on another Forum, that the Document Checklist for Spousal Sponsorships was updated: IMM 5491e [02-2016]. One member stated that the rules regarding
the photos of the Principle Applicant had changed. Now, ALL the Photos [8 required] have to have the Applicant's Name and Date of Birth, along with the Photographer
Studio's Name, Address, and Date when the photos were taken. The old requirement was to write all this information on just ONE of the photos.
I just perused this new updated version of IMM 5491e, and found NO mention of this supposed new rule change. Actually, the Document Checklist never has mentioned any
information regarding Photo requirements, whatsoever. Pherhaps this forum member got the documents they were refering to mixed up...and they are referring to an
updated version of IMM 3909e: Country Specific Instructions- "The Carribbean".?? [Of which i have yet to check].
So, can someone please give me a definitive answer, as to what are the definitive requirements regarding what has to be written on the BACK of the Photos?
Thanks so much.
