Hello there,
I have been a victim of domestic abuse and sponsorship breakdown from my mentally unstable spouse. My spouse has neglected our baby and emotionally/physically abused us . I had to leave the residence and now have been separated from my spouse and living with my little baby. My baby is very young, my mother has come on a tourist visa and living with us and helping us out till the custody gets settled. It's very stressful to think , what will happen and how will my baby and I will manage when my mom will have to go back . If I apply for my mother's PR , it will take years to get that . Based on my situation and sponsorship breakdown and abuse , is there any law/policy from immigration that can give my mother PR on urgency basis and where she won't have to wait for years ?
I will really appreciate any insight into this.
Thank you,

There is no law / policy that will grant your mother PR status on an urgent basis.

You may want to look into the super visa if you want your mother to be able to say in Canada for an extended period of time as a visitor.

Very sorry to hear about your situation. I actually had great assistance from a women's centre in Rexdale (Toronto) just in preparing our basic application, so it's likely they (or a similar centre wherever you are in Canada) can help advise you with the custody process, visa options for your mother, and possibly other things to know about. Good luck and bravo for being strong for your child.

You say "sponsorship breakdown". The following information would be helpful if we are to offer good advice.

Who sponsored who and when?
Does the sponsored person have "Condition 51" on the COPR?
When did the sponsored person land as a PR?
When did you move out?
