Does anyone know anything about sponsorship appeal? My husband was denied permanent residency, officer citing marriage of convenience. We applied for PR while living together for over two years in Canada. Subsequently, apprehended and placed on a one year bond then upon termination of the bond given choice to return to his country voluntarily. He returned, and I did an outside canada application which they denied. In Feb. 2012 I started a sponsorship appeal which seems forever to obtain an interview date. We can't think of anyother way to convince the immigration since they do not believe the photos or any tangible evidence that he showed the immigration officer at the interview. Any suggestions???

I am really sorry for you. Waiting and gethering more evidence is probably what you can do now. Why did they think your marriage is the marriage of convenience, didn't they give you any reasons? You'd better prepare how to answer those questions in your coming interview.
