Hi again. I'm a US citizen and my wife is a Canadian citizen, she is sponsoring me.
She is on disability so she does not have a job. One of the requirements for this is she must provide documents and a detailed letter explaining how she plans to support me?
She is able to financially support as I've been staying here for some time without any money problems. I've actually had to go to the ER once here (We thought my appendix bursted but it turned out to be another issue with my gallbladder. I'm fine, no surgery needed! Just need to watch my diet)
we were able to pay for that no problem with a little help from her father.
I'm just wondering, how to write this letter and what sort of documents we need to add?

Bank statements and ODSP statements would be good, yes?
I also have my own Canadian bank account she puts money in herself so I can go out and purchase things on my own if she is unable to leave the house.
And from your other reply. Would getting a letter from her father expressing he's willing to pay for some of my things as well work too? He's not sponsoring me but he's helped out with the more expensive unexpected emergencies, like the ER visit.
Issue is he's not a native English speaker so getting him to write it might be difficult.
Bumping this <
If anyone knows if it's alright to say that my sponsors father sometimes helps out? I'm not financially dependent on him but he has helped out for paying for things occasionally.
