Sponsoring Wife - Can she visit me when I return to Canada?

Hi all,

My situation:
1. I will begin sponsorship of my Japanese wife very, very soon. (Outland application)
2. We are both living in Japan, together.
3. My Japanese work VISA expires in May 2019.
4. I will be returning to Canada in May 2019

If our sponsorship, her application, suffers any hiccups... and I return to Canada alone, will she then be able to come to Canada, as a visitor so that we can be together?

GOAL: Not to be separated by such distance!!

Yes, she can come to visit. Having sufficient proof of ties to her home country and a return ticket back home will help facilitate her successful entry at the border.
