Sponsoring US born baby

Hello,
Looking for advice on how to sponsor my US born daughter's Canadian PR.
My husband and I completed our landing formalities back in Sept 2020 but couldn't move right away due to the pandemic. We now have a 3 month old baby who is a US citizen.
We hope to finally move by April this year but given that we have no tax history in Canada as of yet, how might we fill out the financial assessment form? My husband will continue working for his US employer till he can find a job in Canada and we do have savings to show (I am a homemaker, if that helps).
Just wondering if anyone has some insights/advice.

You can enter Canada with your new child (He/she will get a visitor record at the land border for 6 months or 1 year upon entry). Once in Canada, just file for dependent child either Online (recently introduced in Sep - https://prson-srpel.apps.cic.gc.ca/en/login) or old paper application method.

Proof of funds doesn't need to be Canadian Funds. It can be US Tax proofs and Salary slips and bank balance

Do we mention both parent in sponsor ship form, is husband working in usa while application pending is ok, wife is a housemaker , but will be staying in canada. How did the overall process go for you ?

Is your spouse living in Canada but commuting the US daily? If not do they have intentions of moving to Canada soon? Are either of you US citizens?
