Sponsoring spouse

Hello!
My self, my spouse, my two daughters and a son all had got PR under AINP category in July 2014 with a validity up to July 2019. My family had left Canada in one month after getting completing the process. Now here is the main question. My elder daughter got married in February 2016 and now if she wants to sponsor her spouse and come back to Canada is it possible for her? We have not updated to CIC about her status changes so for. Is it OK to update them now and proceed from there? Her stay in Canada after getting PR is just one month and since then she is in India, at present staying with her spouse How to proceed ?

yes, if your daughter has PR status in canada she can sponsor her spouse for PR through spousal sponsorship. However, as a PR herself, in order to sponsor her spouse, she must be living in canada throughout the entire process. She can not sponsor her spouse if she is living in India. She must first move to Canada and then submit a spousal sponsorship application.

It is not required for you to notific IRCC about your daughter's marraige. She is a landed PR, and getting married doesn't affect PR status. To qualify for sponsorship, she needs to move back to canada first.
