Hi all,
I am a Canadian citizen.
I was on social assistance for last 10 months. But for last one month I am working a company and drawing C$ 2000/- per month.
Next month, I am going back home to get married. Will there be any problem in sponsoring my wife (from outside Canada).
Thanks in advance....

You may not be eligible to be a sponsor if you:
receive government financial assistance for reasons other than a disability
THe passage above is from CIC website , so since at the present you are not receiving welfare then you are eligible to sponsor your wife, also please include a certified copy of your work contract to prove that your working and indicates your monthly salary and the duration of your contract.
Also please include a detailed information about when you stopped taking welfare.
CPC-missasague will assess your sponsorship and check the whether your on welfare currently, this stage 1 process for approval currently takes 50 days.
Good luck
You can also consult with a immigration lawyer if you like and pay 50-100$ for this question.
If you maintain your job and stay away from social assistance, you will be able to sponser.....
