I am on EI right now (EI compassionate care benefit. Can I sponsor my wife to Canada while I am on EI. As I will have financial obligations to take care of her, will it be a reason for refusal or will it have a negative impact on my file?
how much should be my income or balance in my account for sponsoring my spouse?
If you are a PR you can't sponsor your spouse if you are not in Canada. Would also check to see if you will actually qualify for compassionate care benefit while outside Canada.
