My wife and I live in Nicaragua where we met and were married, and are currently working on the papers for a spousal sponsorship so that we can both go live in Canada. One bit of confusion we've come across is that on the IM5532E form, it asks if she has any relatives in Canada (I'm assuming besides me and my immediate family). The problem is she has a lot of other relatives in Canada.
Her grandmother and many of her aunts and uncles (it was a very big family) fled Nicaragua during the revolution and got to Canada under refugee status (all legal). The application asks us to list all of them... the problem is, that was generations ago and they now have children and grandchildren, and have moved all over the country. We don't know where all of them live, in fact we don't even know many of their names. How many do we need to include? Will there be any problems if we list just a few? For example, her grandmother and a few of her uncles that she has had contact with?
Thanks!
