I have a few questions. I would like to sponsor my future spouse (fiance atm) in December. We have been talking about getting married legally so we can apply for our paperwork and do the ceremony next year.
I am a Canadian citizen and she is from Mexico so I would be applying for outland sponsorship.
Would it make the process easier if we got married legally in Canada vs Mexico? Would we still need to provide all the pictures and video clips although we have enough proof of dating for 2 years now?
What other documents would need to be translated besides her birth certificate and her university degree? (She has never been married before)
We would be hiring a lawyer to do our paperwork and go over everything come closer to the sponsorship time as we want to eliminate the chances of any screw ups. I would like to get as much information as possible.

Where you get married doesn't affect the processing. The one little extra thing about getting married in Mexico is getting the marriage certificate formally translated.
Yes, you still need to provide the required proofs. Video clips are not accepted.
Skip the lawyer and save your money. The application is fairly straightforward and with a 2 year relationship, you should have no issues.
Sorry to be a pain but on the cic website, it doesn't list any, am I over thinking stuff?
