Iam sponsoring my dependent child who is 16 years turning 17 injuly .i declared her as my child when i first came to canada How ever.iam on EI and have submitted the application but did not include her copies of her passport as it is expired and has applied for a new one.so now my question is will cic approve me as a sponsor since Iam on EI? And secondly will they process my application without passport copies of my daughter?

If you are on EI and not social assistance you can sponsor her. The application will not be processed without her valid passport.

You can try submitting copies of her new passport when she receives it. You might get lucky with timing. Also possible they will email to ask for it without sending it back.

But otherwise, yes,resubmit later.
