My common law hubbys girls currently reside in Jamaica with his parents, their mother has very little to do with them. I am sponsoring them to come here to live with us. The Mom is fine with it, but there was never any legal custody arrangements made, what do we need to get from their mother? Or what will immigration want from her?

She has provided us with a letter stating that she is ok with us sponsoring them and that they don't live with her, they live with his parents, but them living there was q verbal agreement, not court ordered. Would that be enough? Or should we start court procedures?
