There is no such things as sponsorship of a visitor visa. Sponsorship is for PR. You can show your funds but may not be considered. Cash in the bank are funds not NOA, property or paystubs. Partner should show equally amount to your banks statements of $10k along with travel history, ties to return and valid reasons to travel.

You mean the person coming to Canada shows these items as ties to return? All these items show that the person would stay in Canada and not leave.
NOA - not relevant to person planning to visit.
Property ownership - person visiting shows property as ties to return.
Pay stubs and letter - person visiting shows that they have a stable job with approved leave to return home
Bank statments - person visiting shows the cash in the bank.

The list I shared was meant as an example of strong supporting documents in general, but I agree that for a visitor visa applicant, the focus should be on:
Property ownership in their home country to show ties and intention to return.
Pay stubs and employment letter to prove a stable income and approved leave from work.
Bank statements to demonstrate they have enough funds to cover their trip.
And of course, NOA is more relevant for someone living in Canada, like a sponsor.
