Sponsoring family?

Hi

My wife landed in Canada as pr 4 months ago and would like to sponsor her family from India.

2 parents and 2 siblings

What are our options?

Income wise we do not meet the 3 year requirement.
Her mother has BA and currently owns her own business for clothing.


One of her siblings turns 18 next year, if we wait 3 years to get the income requirement, can we sponsor her sibling along with family even if over 18?

Impossible to say what the requirements will be in 3 years, but based on 2019 you would need to show 3 years of income and meet LICO as well. So sufficient income to support 6 people plus any children of your own. The older sibling would need to remain a dependant if the parents and depending on timing may be excluded if they are 21.
Realistically, until you are close
To meeting the basic requirements, there isn’t much to plan for. PGP rules stay pretty consistent (the last few year) just how applications are submitted and how many change.

At this point, you have no options for sponsorship. You need to meet LICO.

The siblings can be included if they are under 22 and not married or common-law.
