I am a landed immigrant residing in US. How do I sponsor my newly born child for Canadian PR? Since he is a US citizen is he visa exempt and he will be allowed to stay with me in Canada when I permanently move to Canada? Please advise. Thanks.

Are you a landed immigrant of Canada? That means you are a permanent resident. To enable your child to become a PR of Canada, you must apply to sponsor him. To do that, you must reside in Canada. Yes, he will probably be allowed to stay with you as a visitor during the process assuming you have unfettered custody.
