Hi
I am PR and sponsoring my baby who is with me with a visitor visa. Can I apply OHIP for him? I was told people applying for PR could get OHIP too?
If not, where should I take him to get regular vaccine, like health unit or community health center? Is it free if he has no OHIP?
Thanks

You can take your baby to a walk-in clinic to get the vaccine. You will need to pay for it if your baby doesn't have OHIP coverage.

Thanks. Will they discuss vaccine plans with me and keep records for my baby?

Yes - they will certainly do that.
If your family has a GP you can also see if the baby can join the practice as a private paying patient and then continue on as an OHIP patient. Then the records will be all together.

what‘s GP?
General practice doctor or also known as family doctor. In Canada all thr family sees a GP. Paediatricians are now for children with more complex medical issues not healthy children.
