sponsoring a spouse

hello my spouse is in India and she is a psychologist. i just came to came after marriage and i am about to file an application to sponsor her as spouse.
my questions are
1- on the website it says it can take up too 13 months from india. is there any other way she can come to Canada and then i can apply for her from canada?

2- if she come here as a tourist can i apply for her then and is it faster than if she is in india and apply for her from there?

3- if i file for her sponsorship and then she apply for her tourist visa will these two things will interfere with each other? and if she is here in canada as tourist she still need to go back to india to get the process done for the application?

i will apprecite a lot if someone can answer my questions

you may want to check out the family sponsorship board. there are a bunch of threads on there that may answer your question, and most family sponsorship applicants/sponsors respond to questions faster on that board. search specifically for threads from your wife's country. there are also spreadsheets made that track the progress of applications. the times suggested on the CIC site are not always accurate, though i'm not sure how close it is to your specific situation.
