Hello everyone!

I’m in desperate need for answers regarding sponsoring a child. I’m currently a PR holder and 4 months pregnant. I was hoping to deliver in Canada but it looks tough . I am instead considering Dubai where I reside currently. Can anyone help me with info related to making the child PR holder?
- do I start a express profile ?
- can I do this from Dubai or does one parent need to be in Canada ?
- approx processing time? If anyone has done this ...

1) No. You file to sponsor the child through family sponsorship (paper-based application) once the child is born.
2) One parent must be physically in Canada.
3) 6-8 months for processing of the application.
