Hello everybody! I will soon sponsor my daughter, and i wanna ask some questions to the people who had the same experience. I was a live in caregiver before and got my PR last year. I listed my daughter as non accompanying(due to the reason that biological father doesnt wanna sign the consent) and she did the medical.
1. what forms should i use?
2. is it a good idea to pass the application 1 year before she turns 18?
Thank you and im hoping that somebody will respond to this.

The forms are the same as spousal PR applications. The only difference is the child is the applicant.
It doesn't matter when CIC received the application as long as they received it before the child turns 19. The age is locked in once they received the application.
It means that if you submitted the application and CIC gets the application say when child is 18 years 10 months, the age is locked in. So it won't matter when your child turns 19. Your child will still get PR after turning 19 and becomes an adult.
If CIC receives the PR application after child turns 19, then the child becomes disqualified to be sponsored as your PR dependent. So if you submitted application when child is a week away from turning 19 and CIC received the application after child turns 19, child becomes disqualified to be sponsored. It doesn't matter when you submit application, all that matters is how old the child is when CIC received your application.
