Sponsor undertaking

Hello everyone!

I have one doubt that there is sponsor undertaking in which sponsor can’t change their status such as can’t change the province. So currently I am in Saskatchewan province, and my wife just got passport request, so my question is that when I supposed to change the province. Is there any rule that my wife has to stay in Saskatchewan for some time or can I change province in short time ?
Please advice me on that.

I assume you are asking about spousal sponsorship.

You can change provinces. There is no issue changing provinces. The undertaking will remain in place no matter where you are living.

Does that also apply if the sponsor obtained PR through provincial nomination? - I initially understood the OP's question that way.

How the sponsor obtained PR isn't material for the purposes of the spousal sponsorship undertaking.

The financial undertaking that the sponsored signed remains in place for three years after their spouse has landed regardless of how the sponsor got PR or where they move.
