Hello everyone,

Does anyone know how to go about question 8 in sponsor questionnaire? It's about previous countries of residence. They need correct full addresses (which I have) and telephone numbers which I do not. I am guessing cic would want to call and verify the info. I lived in 3 apartment complexes in States when I studied. 2 of them have a website now, the third one I cannot find. I emailed those 2, received one reply that they have a main office number but no records of anything happening before 2006, because it is a new owner now.

What should I put for the phone numbers? Is it mandatory or just addresses will be fine??

Thanks

I had the same issue on my sponsor questionnaire. I decided to just fill in the complete address and put nothing for the telephone number since there was none.

Hi spaceraceone ,
I'm not sure what is acceptable, but when I filled it, I had at least 3 places that I didn't have a valid telephone number:
2 of them the numbers changed to be 7 digits instead of 5, and I gave the old ones, and 1 was in a kibutz (a joint community) that we rented an apartment, and I searched online for the phone number, and this is what I put.
most of the numbers I gave were the same line that we moved from one rental to another, so good knows what they would get if they try to call them.

I was approved as a sponsor, so I'm not sure if they really check it.
Good luck

Oh, OKAY, thanks

My husband put phone numbers for the places he had, and for some of them he didn't have a landline, just used his mobile... so we filled it out where we knew it and left it blank where we didn't and had no issues.
