Sponsor Pregnant Wife immigrated to Canada

While we are preparing the spouse sponsorship immigration files outside of Canada for my wife, she is pregnant. What we should do about the application? Should we add additional explanations to the application with a doctor certificate? Base on the due date, the application will be in the middle of processing. Thank you!

I think on one of the forms it asks if either of you are pregnant and for the due date. I'm not sure if a doctor's note is needed.

You can add the doctor’s note too in your application. When the baby is born while processing your permant residence application, you should just notify CIC of the arrival of your newborn and follow instructions thereafter on how to add the baby in your application.

You do not need to notify CIC of pregnancies.
