You've been approved as a sponsor. You may get a letter in the mail, but you got an email. That's pretty good. Some people get nothing.

Why do you need to contact CIC? There's nothing to do right now but wait. Islamabad has a very long processing time - over two years. The only reason you would need to contact them is if something changed. I. E., you've moved, had a child.

My wife didnt get any letter and email I submitted my application on sep 6th and got the approval on oct 16 2012. Does she supposed to get any email or letter. I got an email my application have been approved

The sponsor gets the sponsor approval letter, not the applicant. Sometimes you get an e-mail, sometimes a letter in the mail, sometimes both, and occasionally you get nothing at all. It's the CIC lottery.

Your wife (I assume she is the applicant) may or may not get a letter confirming that the Visa Office received the application (also called AOR). Some offices send them, some do not. Otherwise, the office will contact her if/when they need anything. As your office has a very long wait time, I wouldn't expect to hear anything for a while.
