I want to sponsor my Dad, but my problem is that I don't have any savings in the bank, will this be a problem? Me and my wife are employed full time and are canadian citizen.

You don't need savings, as long as you meet the Low Income Cut Off figure in the year prior to the application from Canadian earnings, you will be fine.
