We're have just send our application a little over a month ago. My partner was offered a very exciting job onboard a cruise ship. He'd work for 3 months and be back onshore for 2. Will that interfere on our application? We are common-law and living in Quebec.

as long as you have lived together in same place for at least one full year so far, i dont think it can cause a problem. however, you need to prove that you are still living together now and relationship is continuous even though he will be out working for 3 months at a time.
good luck!
Hi, Could you please please tell me how and where to send an application!! I've been wanting to work on a cruise ship for long but I just don't know where to send it! I live in Quebec too! It would be really REALLY helpfull!! Thank you in advance!!
I worked at the same place for a looong time. The tricky thing with it is that the ship isn't really a place per se. It's not like you're in a specific country when at sea. So I think you will be fine. Nobody.. immigration or anyone.. ever notices your absence or knows how long you were gone for.

Depends on your skills If you have no highly specialized skills then just research the major companies and you will find on all their websites a recruitment link usually in small at the bottom. Entry level positions are usually as servers and then you can be cross-promoted very quickly to a cushier job once you demonstrate your awesome grasp of english. Or you can look into working in their gift shops which is quite a good job. Those are usually handled by outside agencies that contract out.
