Sponsor husband and children

Hi. I am a Canadian citizen living in the US for most of my life as a dual citizen of both the US and Canada. I have not been a resident of Canada since age 9, and I am now 38. I am married to a US Citizen and I do not work as I stay home to raise our children age 2 and 4. I have several questions as we are considering moving to British Columbia in the future.

1. Are my children automatically Canadian citizens because I am one?
2. Can my husband live and work in Canada because I am Canadian?
2. How would I sponsor my husband should he find a job in his field in Canada- could I just move right back and bring him with me or do I have to be employed in Canada and have established residency?
3. What is the process to get my children legal citizenship?

Thank you to anyone who can provide me answers. We would love to have the option of moving home soon!

I read the first post but am confused. So lets say mu husband finds a job in Canada- can he accept the job and we all move there?

Sure - he can accept the job. But he will need a work permit to start working and move to Canada. He will also require an approved LMO from the employer if he does not qualify under NAFTA.

ok great, that is good news at least. i had read a few years ago before we had children that i would have to be working for one year before i could sponsor him
so i guess if he were to get a job and work permit, we could move and then work on the sponsorship
