I am preparing supporting documents for sponsoring my parents. I wonder if the photocopy of passport or birth certificate has to be certified.

Thanks a lot!

Read the checklist. If it says copy, then it doesn't have to be certified. Also read the instructions for their country of residence, some require original birth certificates.
