How old is your son? If he is 19 or older, he cannot be sponsored as he no longer considered to be your dependent. There are exemption to the rule such as if son is physically and mentally dependent on you.
Thanks for your reply, but I have to correct : I will not sponsor my son (28 years old). I only want to be financially responsible of him. For the sponsorship, his girlfriend will help him. My question is : is it possible to fill in some documents showing I'm financially responsible for my son? Thanks again

You cannot be financially responsible for your son while his girlfriend sponsors him. Assuming his girlfriend is either a Canadian PR or citizen, she can only sponsor him if the two of them are either married or have lived together for at least a year. She will be financially responsible for him if she sponsors him for PR. You cannot be financially responsible for him.

There is no form where your son has to write who is supporting him financially.
If you want to give your son money, by all means go ahead. Nothing good or bad will come of it, from the point of view of getting Canadian PR. It is totally irrelevant.
Also, for your son's PR application, it is also irrelevant whether he is rich or poor, has a job or is unemployed, has no debt or has lots of debt. It does not matter. What matters is that he has no criminal record and that his relationship with his girlfriend is legitimate - this means, either they are married, or they have lived together for 12 consecutive months.
