yes, spelling mistakes will make a wrong answer in any skill. Fortunately English does not have accents like french or spanish

Wrong spelling = score deducted
Same for all sections where you need to write out your answer
still confuse or another issue like if in the black required eg if black required "communication" but wrote "communicating" will this be a problem ??

Communication(n) and Communicating (v) are not the same. Not only spelling but GRAMMAR is also important too. If you make a grammatical mistake on any sections of IELTS that requires a written answer = points deducted

"on any sections of IELTS that requires a written answer" is incorrect.
