I sent application in September and today online status updated. I was happy but little bit concerned. My first name spelling were not correct. I am 100% sure i spelled correctly and all my docs has same name. I think while updating they had typo. My question is has anyone experience similar problem and what action was taken to correct them. Good to know that your application is in process. When was your application exactly received ?
You could send CIC an email or use the case specific form to get the spellings corrected .Better attach a copy of your PR card or any other govt. ID for reference .
My Name was initially correct on E-CAS .. then when the received line disappeared, suddenly my middle name had 2 letters flipped .. I called CIC and they told me not to worry as this is just an online profile and shouldn't affect the name on the Citizenship certificate which will be in accordance to the Record of landing.
