I have a query and hopeful that you can help me here.
Me(Student) and my spouse(SOWP) came to Canada in Jan 2021 with both visa valid till 1st April 2022. I graduated today i.e. 7th January and have a full time job offer with NOC A starting 31st January.
1. I applied for SP extension and SOWP extension on September 6th 2021(121 days) but not decision yet.
-->Should I cancel my study permit and SOWP extension application and apply for PGWP? OR
-->Should I let it process and apply for PGWP?(This honestly makes no sense to me, but if I will get visa extension for spouse it will be really great).
Any relevant response will be highly appreciated. Thanks.
Hi, I waited for few more days and cancelled it as advised by my University International Student Advisor, However, it was still approved and we both received our permits.
oh I see. My husband and I are still waiting for our extension since January and I just graduated this May. Unlike yours, our visas were both expired. I hope we also get our permit sooner. Anyways, thank you for responding!
Hello, For SOWP Extension for my Husband, for the attachment "Family member Proof of Status" what should I put considering my PGWP is still in progress?
