hi, i have a question for my son sponsorship,
i have a son that i did not acknowledge when he was born. i dont have my name on his birthcertificate even on his baptismal. so my lawyer in the philippines told me that in the law of philippines i dont have a son. because i did not acknowledge him when he was born. and he told me is not illegitimate because i did not ackwoledge that i have a son. when my wife sponsor me i did not put my son name on the family list. because im confuse my problem is can i still sponsor my son?
my lawyer told me, i can tell that i dont know that i have a son when the time my wife sponsoring me, and after 2years i just know that i have a son on my ex girl friend. he told me to ask it to immigration lawyer but im in the philippines right now, and i dont know any immigration lawyer here in the philippines. and also my lawyer told me that is not misrepresentation because that time i realy dont know that i have a son.
Your lawyer is telling you to lie. That is misrepresentation. You knew you had a son, but you chose not to include him. Unfortunately, the laws are very clear. You can never sponsor him.
how can i include him on the application? i dont have a proof that he my real son, i dint acknowlegde him when he;s birth. i dont have a name on his birth certificate. and im also not sure if he is my blood because we already brokeup and she has boyfriend that time and after 2 months she told me that she's pregnant and im the father. my mother took the child.

You could have still acknowledged that he was yours, listed him as non accompanying and when you were now ready to sponsor they would've done a DNA test to ensure he is in fact yours, genetically. You have, however, missed that boat by not listing him on your application. This is/was in fact misrepresentation on your part and does now exclude that child from EVER being sponsored by you to come to Canada as your son. The sad truth of the matter is that this lawyer that helped you with your application really screwed you but in the end you are the responsible party and CIC will hold you to that.
It doesn't matter what the law of the Philippines is... in Canadian law, he has always been your son. CIC will follow Canadian law. Your lawyer should have known better than this.
Unfortunately I don't see a way for you to be able to sponsor your son.
On another note, don't you think you should at least get a DNA test on this child before even trying to figure out how to bring him to Canada? It might not even be your child after all.
