Hi Friends,

This thread is for the Software Developers who are planning to migrate to Canada. Please share your opinion or knowledge about the IT market in Canada. Which province is better? Which technology is used most? etc, etc.

To Start with let me share with you my experience.

I have 4+ Years of experience in Software Development. I work on DOTNET technologies such as SharePoint Server, Asp.net, Ajax, C#, SQL Server etc. Can anyone suggest the scope of these technologies in Canada?

bcoz per new NOC list there is no luck for IT professionals now other than having a job offer from Canada.

The 38 list doesn't have software developer NOC also.

You can apply for Australian immigration, which has Software Developer on its list.

Software developers are not in demand in Canada. There is no shortage of these skills from Canadians, thus it is very hard for an immigrant to get work in this field.

Start applying now for jobs, start networking and find out the best companies and Provinces that may need your skills.

All IT jobs in Canada are now over subscribed with applicants, both Canadians and immigrants. So the earlier you start looking and learning the better chance you will have.
