Hello there! Just wanted to check in and see how the landing went ?
We plan to do the same with our royal highness and would appreciate if you could please share your experience.
A little paranoid that our girl has to do a journey of over 18 hours
Hi Aswathi, the landing went smooth. Ours had to endure 21 hours - we flew Eva Air as we were coming from SE Asia. They are one of the better airlines when it comes to pets. We had a 2 hour stopover in Taipei which is good as it was short.
The process in Pearson was smooth - no questions asked only the pet's documents.
Same. I'm not about to tell my cat he's not human, or that I'm not his servant.
Seriously though, I soft landed and then brought him with me later. You don't have to declare him at time of soft landing. When you do your final move, make sure you have all the paperwork (rabies shots, etc) for the cat. You'll be fine. If you get an officer like I had, he was more oohing and awwing over the cat than worried about me and what I was bringing into the country.

Hello, what is your cat breed? How much is the cost of bringing a cat? What papers do they need? I’m hesitant to bring my cats soon because they might not survive the long flight (also coming from SE asia) and i read stories of pets dying.

I have a 9 year old Mainecoone. We had a 45 minute flight, and about a 4 hour flight and he was fine. The vet gave me a sedative for him but I refused to use it.
