Hi all,
I heard soft landing by air was not allowable after COVID during 2020 and 2021, what about now? Also, I am an FSW applicant and I have mentioned Toronto as my destination during my application. For now, I may reside in Gatineau after landing, would this be a problem to reside in Quebec and give the officer an address in Gatineau for PR cards to be sent to? And can I get an Ontario driving license while living in Gatineau.
Thanks.

- Soft landings are allowed.
- The address for the mailing of your PR card should be outside of Quebec since you applied through a Federal program. If you give a Quebec address, it's possible you may have issues with your landing.
You need to get a Quebec driving license if you are living in Gatineau.

Thank you for your clarification. So can I give an address in Ottawa for the mailing of the PR card and still live temporarily in Gatineau? I will be working in Ottawa while living temporarily for several months in Gatineau. So I can't get an Ontario driving license before moving permanently to Ontario?
