I am working in a non profit organization for 2 year right now and I really interested of staying in Canada and do not want to go back after my contract and I am thinking of appying for permanent resident. Is this a good idea or not but I need opinion so maybe someone can help me that will be graet. Thankyou and God bless you
If you want to stay, apply to become a permanent resident. If your work permit states social worker, that is a skilled profession so you can apply after 2 years of work under Canadian experience class, see http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/cec/index.asp
Thank you Leon, I am very appreciated
