I have worked in an International NGOs like Oxfam, Save the Children and now in UNDP. My job resposibilities mathches with the job responsibilities mentioned under 4152.
But I do not have Social work degree?
Is is necessary to have the degree to apply for immigration
It depends on where you intend to stay in Canada, for instance, you need Bachelor degree in Social work in Ontario, but a diploma in Alberta is enough.
Social worker job is a regulated job in Canada, which means you should have minimum education, experience and pass certain tests to be able to work.
I suggest you visit: www5.HRSDC.gc.ca, type the NOC code on the lower left side searc box and go thru the Employment requirements.
Good luck
