Hello, there is problem occurred that when I applied my social insurance number the service canada refuse to give me sin and asked me that record has been flagged by ircc . I don't know why they di

It's really impossible to say without knowing why your application has been flagged to IRCC.

To be eligible for a SIN, you must have a study permit with the conditions that you can work on or off campus? Does your study permit state this? Just guessing a possible reason.

I have valid study permit. In that it is written to work for on and off campus both. Also the officer told me that you are eligible to work for 20 hours while classes and 40 hours in semester breaks. But still facing this problem.

Then there are issues with IRCC, or they have valuable information that we both dont know but at least you can guess. If not, wait for correspondence

When did you land in Canada? Apparently some times the CBSA officer may not have entered your details properly or your details are still being processed.

Hi @Arsh122100 I've received a similar response from Service Canada yesterday when I went there to get my Social Insurance Number.

They gave me 2 options : Either to go to the airport and check with CBSA or they'll refer the case internally to IRCC and get back to me with my SIN number in 3 months time.

Did you get any update.

Yes, you have to go to airport. And then immigration centre there . They will resolve your problem and then you will go to service canada for SIN.
