1 - I am currently not receiving social assistance from the Government, however, the past several years I was, but 3 months ago they cancelled it due to me not providing requested information. Am I eligible to sponsor my husband since I was previously collecting assistance or how much time has to pass before I am? If I am currently eligible, how can I prove that I can support him since I haven't worked in years and my husband will be the one working?
2 - If my husband gets approved for PR and we move to Canada, then we later (appr. 6 months) decide to travel back to his home country to visit, how long are we able to be out of Canada without it affecting his status?
